Term Groups
THE TERM GROUP FEATURE IS ONLY AVAILABLE SINCE VERSION 4.0.0
Terms for attributes can be organized into smaller term groups to reflect the diversity and nature of the terms. This also help the variations look neater in the frontend.
First, you will need to go to WPClever >> Variation Swatches and enable the Term groups option:
Next, when you create new attributes under Products >> Attributes, you can also create soem term groups at the same time by entering some name for the groups and press ENTER.
In order to create term groups for existing attributes on your site, please click the Edit button under each attribute and create new term groups as above.
For example, 3 term groups have been added to the Color attribute below:
After pressing the Update button, you can now click on the Configure terms button under the term list of each attribute to assign them to corresponding groups.
Click the Edit button under each term to edit and add them to a term group:
In the next screen, you can find all term groups listed in the dropdown and choose one for the current term:
It’s possible to preview the groups of all terms from the term editing dashboard. You can also rearrange or hide this column with our WPC Admin Column plugin.
In the frontend, the terms for each attribute will be organized into groups as in the following:
