1/ Components’ quantity set up:
- Enter the default quantity in the “Quantity” box in each component.
- If you allow customers to change the quantity, choose “Yes” for the “Custom quantity” option.
- Set up the min/max for each component in the Min/ Max boxes.
All products added to a component will be subject to the same quantity settings. You cannot set different min/max quantities if they’re in the same component. Items of different quantities must be separated into different components.
2/ Composite’s quantity set up:
The Min/ Max boxes next to the “Quantity” option are the min/max quantity limits for the whole composite. The total units of all components must match these conditions so that the product can be added to the cart.
In the front-end, there will be a warning to guide customers on how to choose the items.
3/ Sold individually:
When you’d like to limit only 1 composite per order per customer, you’ll need to go to the Inventory tab, put a check to the box next to the “Sold individually” option.
The universal quantity box next to the Add to Cart button will be disabled and buyers can only adjust the quantity of the components (if allowed).
